The second stage of the joint Russian-Uzbek project Klass! has been launched

In Tashkent, at a meeting of Dmitriy Glushko, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, with Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Usman Sharifkhodjaev, First Deputy Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an agreement was signed between Avloni Retraining and In-Service Institute of Specialists of the Public Education System and International Center Education "Interdom" named after E.D. Stasov on implementation of educational and methodological work. According to the agreement, the Russian teachers of the Russian language and subject teachers will work in schools in Uzbekistan in 2021.

The signing of the document marked the beginning of the second stage of the Klass! Humanitarian Russian-Uzbek project . It is being implemented by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation together with Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the financial support of the Alisher Usmanov Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation

Before assignment to work in Uzbekistan, the Russian teachers will undergo training based on results of monitoring of knowledge and teaching level of the Russian language conducted among Uzbek students and Russian language teachers as part of the first stage of the Klass! Project.

During the meeting, the performed work results were presented: in October - December 2020, more than 1,000 schoolchildren and more than 4,000 teachers passed the test in Russian as a foreign language.

Klass! Humanitarian project is a continuation of the Russian Ministry of Education Abroad program, when the Russian teachers teach Russian and Russian-language subjects in other countries helping to improve the quality of Russian language teaching and promoting education.

Implementation of the Klass! Project will help to form stable ties between teachers of Russia and Uzbekistan, convergence of pedagogical approaches and creations for further expansion of the Russian-Uzbek bilateral cooperation.
