The Ministry of Education of Russia launches a project on preschool education in the Republic of Uzbekistan
Dmitriy Glushko, First Deputy Minister of Education of Russia, held negotiations with Agrippina Shin, Minister of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The parties announced the creation of a branch of the Herzen State Pedagogical University and approved a roadmap for development of the branch.
The Uzbek Party expressed great gratitude to the Herzen State Pedagogical University n for work in training and advanced training of Uzbek teachers of preschool education, including in psychological and pedagogical work with children with mental retardation. In 2021, the university plans to organize training to support parents in upbringing and development of children with disabilities. The University invited children of the Republic of Uzbekistan to participate in the MegaHerz winter camp.
At the meeting, the parties agreed to launch a joint project to implement the program for improving the quality of preschool education in the Republic of Uzbekistan Malysh ("Mittivoy"). The concept of the project was prepared on the basis of the Klass! Russian-Uzbek joint project to improve the quality of the Russian language teaching in the Republic of Uzbekistan among schoolchildren and school teachers, it has been successfully implemented since October 2020 and has already shown serious results.
Following the meeting, the corresponding Action Plan for preparation of the project was approved between the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
